Project Description

With his Virgin Hotel, Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Group wants to merge in one single concoction the three vocations of the NoMad neighborhood: hospitality, dining and night life.
Rising 476 feet above the street level and completely covered in glass, the building will insure sweeping views overlooking Broadway towards Times Square, while views of Madison Square Park, the Flatiron District and Lower Manhattan will also be at hand. The Empire State Building itself
will make a nearly uninterrupted appearance between several buildings in NoMad, from the eastern side of the hotel.
One of the most significant contribution of the building to its surroundings will be to the street level, with the bright storefront space and the terraces.
