Intercom Becomes Intercom S.p.A. (Italian Joint-Stock Company), Increases Registered Share Capital to €3 Million (Approx. US$3,5 Million), and Unveils Its New Five-Year Development Plan
A historic milestone for the Cittadella-based company, strengthening its corporate structure and outlining its strategic direction for the next five years with the support of Studio Dalla Libera & Partners.
On June 24, 2026, Intercom officially announced a strategic milestone in its history: the transformation of its Italian legal status from a limited liability company (S.r.l.) into a joint-stock company (S.p.A.), together with an increase in share capital to €3 million (approximately US$3,5 million).
This step represents much more than a corporate formality. It marks the beginning of a new phase characterized by a stronger management structure, greater financial strength, and an even stronger position in international markets.
Since 1989: Nearly Four Decades of Growth from Cittadella to Global Markets
Founded in 1989 as a design and management studio for large facades work, Intercom has continuously evolved over nearly four decades, growing from its roots in Cittadella, near Padua, into a recognized international leader in the building envelope industry.
The company’s strength has always been its ability to combine extensive experience, technical expertise, and the attention to detail that characterizes Italian craftsmanship with a forward-looking vision focused on innovation and international expansion.
Today, Intercom’s operations extend well beyond Europe, delivering complex and iconic projects across global markets.
The trust placed in the company by international partners is reflected in some of its most prestigious projects:
- Google Headquarters, New York – a highly prestigious project located at the heart of global technological innovation, where quality and design standards are among the most demanding in the industry.
- Gilder Center, New York – a cutting-edge development combining advanced structural engineering, efficiency, and contemporary architectural excellence.
- McCombs School of Business, Austin, Texas – a world-class academic project where functional architecture meets the requirements of an elite educational environment.
- TheTris, Milan – a modern office tower that has become a landmark in one of Italy’s most dynamic business districts.
This proven ability to successfully manage international projects of this scale, combined with a long and well-established track record, has enabled Intercom to further strengthen its position as a competitive global player.
The New Five-Year Development Plan and the Partnership with Studio Dalla Libera & Partners
To support and expand this international growth trajectory, Intercom’s Shareholders’ Meeting simultaneously approved an ambitious Five-Year Development Plan alongside the company’s transformation into an S.p.A. (Italian joint-stock company).
The plan targets the generation of more than €100 million (approximately US$117 million) in revenue over the next five years and provides a strategic roadmap designed to drive business growth, technological innovation, and further expansion into international markets.
The development of this comprehensive business plan was supported at every stage by Studio Dalla Libera & Partners of Padua, led by Alberto Dalla Libera, Valentina Meli, and Elena Guidi.
The firm’s advisors worked closely with Intercom’s management and shareholders, providing expertise in financial planning, corporate governance, and corporate structuring to support a transformation of this scale.
The Shareholders’ Meeting also confirmed the current Board of Directors, chaired by Andrea Bordignon, together with Board Members Antonio Bordignon and Sara Bordignon, and appointed the Board of Statutory Auditors consisting of Francesco Zanato (Chairman), Lerry Basso, and Francesco Stievano.
“The transformation approved on June 24 and the launch of our Five-Year Development Plan reaffirm our determination to pursue growth in a sustainable, solid, and structured manner while remaining firmly rooted in Cittadella and maintaining a constant focus on global opportunities and challenges.
The support of Studio Dalla Libera & Partners was instrumental in transforming our history, which began in 1989, and our international achievements, including projects for Google and leading American universities, into a long-term financial and industrial strategy.“
A Stronger International Position
With this new corporate structure, strengthened capitalization, and a clearly defined strategic direction, Intercom S.p.A. is positioning itself as an even more competitive international player, ready to invest in its people, innovation, and ambitious new global challenges.
